Deck Builder Marketers (DBM) is looking for an Account Manager who is responsible for one thing: owning client relationships and driving retention. This is not a role for someone who simply manages communication or “keeps clients happy.” This role is for someone who takes full ownership of the client experience, ensures work is executed correctly and on time, and builds relationships that last. You will manage client relationships, coordinate execution across internal teams, and ensure every client feels confident in the results we’re delivering. What You’ll Be Responsible For

Client Relationship Ownership

  • Act as the primary point of contact for your assigned client portfolio
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships through consistent, proactive communication
  • Ensure clients feel informed, supported, and confident in our work

Retention & Client Success

  • Own client retention across your accounts
  • Identify risks early and take action to address concerns
  • Ensure clients see ongoing value from our services

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and workflows across multiple client accounts
  • Ensure all tasks are clearly defined and tracked in ClickUp
  • Conduct QA reviews before deliverables are sent to clients
  • Track deadlines and follow up with internal teams to keep projects moving

Communication & Reporting

  • Lead client meetings with clear agendas and actionable outcomes
  • Communicate performance updates, including wins, challenges, and next steps
  • Translate marketing data into clear, understandable insights

Problem Solving & Issue Resolution

  • Take ownership when issues arise; internally or externally
  • Diagnose problems, align with internal teams, and drive solutions
  • Communicate proactively with clients to maintain trust

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 3-5+ years in Account Management, Client Services, or Project Management
  • Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously (agency experience required)

Skills

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with ClickUp (or similar project management tools)
  • Experience with CRM platforms (High Level, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Understanding of digital marketing performance (SEO, PPC, etc.)
