You aren’t looking for “another strategist role.”

You are:

  • A strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the whole marketing ecosystem and zoom in when needed to diagnose performance at a technical level.
  • A builder; someone who can create (and refine) frameworks, SOPs, and playbooks that scale across dozens of accounts.
  • A leader who develops people, not just manages tasks.
  • A US market expert who understands homeowner psychology, seasonality, and what actually drives a homeowner to request a quote for a $20k–$100k project.
  • A results-driven strategist who can look at data, extract insights, communicate them simply, and turn them into action.
  • A partner to the Fulfillment Director — not just an executor — who helps shape the strategic direction, quality standards, and performance outcomes across our entire delivery engine.

What You’ll Own (Yes — Own)

This role goes far beyond “manage SEO + PPC.”
You’ll help build the strategic infrastructure that fuels DBM’s client results across the board.
 
1. Build & Lead Our Strategic Frameworks
You will architect the repeatable strategy models that our team uses across all accounts:
  • Lead gen economics frameworks
  • Homeowner-journey strategy mapping
  • Media mix models
  • Scaling pathways
  • Market-specific playbooks
This is the brain of Fulfillment, and you will help build it.
 
2. Drive Performance Across All Strategy Accounts
You will lead high-level oversight of SEO, PPC, and growth strategies, ensuring:
  • Strong lead quality
  • Healthy CPL/CAC economics
  • Seasonal preparedness
  • Revenue-focused thinking
  • Smart allocation of budgets & resources
You are the person who keeps us honest about results.
 
3. Lead, Coach & Develop Strategists & Specialists
You’ll mentor a team of Account Strategists and SEO Specialists, guiding them to:
  • Think strategically
  • Communicate clearly with clients
  • Solve problems proactively
  • Innovate, iterate, and improve
Your leadership determines the quality of every strategy that leaves our department.
 
4. Partner with Creative & CX to Maintain a Unified Fulfillment Engine
You’ll collaborate tightly with other departments to ensure:
  • Strategy → Creative execution alignment
  • Strategy → Client communication alignment
  • Strategy → Website/SEO/Ads integration
  • Smooth cross-department workflows

5. Innovate Continuously
You’ll constantly ask:

  • “What’s the next strategic lever?”
  • “How do we make this more scalable?”
  • “How do we improve quality without sacrificing efficiency?”
Innovation is part of the job, not an afterthought.
 

What You Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone with real leadership and real strategic depth. Not a tactical executor.

Required

  • 5+ years in digital marketing
  • 3+ years in a strategic/leadership role
  • Deep experience with SEO, PPC, CRO, and multi-channel strategy
  • Experience in North American markets (U.S. required)
  • Strong understanding of homeowner psychology, high-ticket services, or local service industry dynamics
  • Proven ability to build frameworks, systems, and scalable strategies
  • Demonstrated leadership experience developing talent
  • Strong analytics, forecasting, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to work ET hours

Bonus (but valuable)

  • Experience in home services, construction, or local service industries
  • Experience building strategy teams or departments
  • Experience with HighLevel, WordPress
