What You’ll Be Doing
- Recruiting & Onboarding
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to extending offers and onboarding new hires.
- Ensure new hires have a smooth, engaging onboarding experience that sets them up for success.
- Collaborate with department leads to forecast hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with company growth goals.
- Employee Experience & Culture
- Drive initiatives that improve engagement, retention, and team satisfaction.
- Support employees with guidance, coaching, and conflict resolution when needed.
- Champion DBM’s core values—Straight Shooters, Better Together, Master Craftsmanship, Action in Empathy, and Extreme Ownership—in everyday HR processes.
- Performance Management & Development
- Implement performance review systems and professional development plans.
- Provide managers and team members with tools, guidance, and frameworks to succeed.
- Track key HR metrics to inform leadership decisions and optimize processes.
- Policy & Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date employee policies and procedures in line with labor laws and regulations.
- Ensure company compliance with payroll, benefits, and legal requirements.
- Prepare documentation for audits or internal reviews, keeping records accurate and organized.
- HR Operations & Systems
- Oversee HR systems and processes (e.g., payroll, benefits administration, performance tracking).
- Continuously improve workflows to make HR operations efficient, scalable, and employee-friendly.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement HR initiatives that align with company strategy.
Who You Are:
- You thrive in a fast-paced, growing company where your ideas and solutions make a tangible impact.
- You’re data-driven, comfortable tracking metrics, analyzing trends, and providing actionable recommendations.
- You communicate clearly and empathetically with employees and leadership alike.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in HR, people operations roles or administrative leadership.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1+).
- Ability to handle sensitive employee situations with discretion and empathy.
- Experience in recruiting and onboarding for remote teams.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Familiarity with performance management frameworks and employee engagement programs.
- Background in HR strategy or leading HR initiatives in a growing company.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. (Master’s degree or HR certifications or equivalent are a plus.)
