Digital Marketing Success! Majestic Outdoors & Deck Builder Marketers
I am Jay Beswick, the owner of Majestic Outdoors. We are design and builders for decks, patios and all of outdoor living located near Raleigh, North Carolina, been in business for over 12 years.
When it came to marketing and even the aspects of website design, what to include within a website, Google and all the different elements that really are able to show our potential clients what we’re capable of. We really did not have a good plan, a good style of a plan, or even know half of what we should know. So we were seeking out those options and opportunities.
But along the way, it was also felt very hard to trust somebody that can handle all the things that we feel like should go into, the marketing, website, design, SEO, all the different content, how to manage Google. And I was realizing that I wasn’t going to be able to make the time. I wasn’t going to be able to figure it out. There was just way more, I’m more out in the field, less time in the office.
And I really just don’t know of you know 10% of what it takes to go in there, and all we had before was just a landing page, a very small Google presence and everything. We would get leads. Maybe we want to get leads. People would kind of find us, but we needed to come up with a plan that we knew that we could direct everybody to what we do and how we do it. Also be able to show us, show them what majestic outdoors is all about and our projects and everything. And then it really came down to that trust factor, and being able to find a company that I could trust, not someone just out there moonlighting and just does it for a few hours a week.
I needed to find a company that knew not only the marketing, the website design, but a company that knew construction, that knew outdoor living, that specialized in the deck process, because that was really our focus. So with that, I also saw that there were some other companies out there that are very highly regarded in the industry that are also utilizing it. So together with all those aspects, we just had to make the 100% decision and commitment to utilize the marketing process and be able to go from there. From the start with the very first discovery call and just phone calls and even zoom calls, the process has been very well laid out with the expectations of what to expect for the for the onset, the onboarding being what information does do, I need to be able to put together for the types of work that we do and in the type of projects that we handle, and a little bit of the information. But then I was also getting a lot of feedback in return of what a good website looks like, what good marketing aspects look like, but everything is very well laid out.
The transparency of the process is very open. There’s, you know, definitely a few different people that are involved with the process. And from you know, the onboarding to the full design, to the review of the website, to how your CRM system is going to be set up, to how your leads come in, all that is very well laid out and able to be able to give you a full expectation.
And I don’t have to worry as I’m out and I’m out of the office and I’m out on job sites, what’s going on in the background and at the same time too, what to expect.
I have a conference call next week. We’re going to do a zoom call. It’s going to be for a scheduled amount of time. These are just what we need to cover. And kind of do, you know, here’s some input that you have to be able to do get us this information. So all that is very laid out by emails and by messages. And the planning is definitely spectacular, and it helps me manage my business a little bit better, because I know a lot of that marketing aspect is being taken care of, and I can focus on the builds and spending time with customers and be able to get my input when I need to. So for anybody that really needs to be able to put together a high performing website, this is the route to take, the time and attention and the detail that’s necessary to really show you, show your potential clients who you are, what you do, is extremely important.
You don’t get a chance, second chance, to make a first impression. And when you be able to align yourself with deck builders marketing, it really helps to be able to make sure that you have a trusted company that’s putting trust with your company, and to be able to put that together and show them what you’ve got, and you’ve got a really good team behind you that’s going to help back you up.
